"KingT- 60% of the time, it works every time" (kngt)

I do think that the Q60 is the best looking car in Infiniti’s lineup and this gives me a distinct AMG Black series vibe.
At Geneva the brand’s general manager of Global Communications, Stefan Weinmann said that work is being done on making a fully-functioning prototype. Despite stopping short of confirming the car for production, Weinmann appeared confident the Project Black S will be an important aspect of Infiniti’s future performance vehicles.
Hope it doesn’t go the way of the Eu Rouge concept

Maybe loose the wing and just put a bigger lip spoiler on or something - other than that weird rear side window styling notch thing which bugs me, it’s a surprisingly nice looking car in person. It seems to be one of those cars that looks better in person than in print for me at least...

I just hate the name. Project Black S seems so uninspired, like they looked at Jaguar’s Project 7, Mercedes’ Black Series, and Audi’s S brand and put them together.

They need to position this carefully without stepping toes on the GT-R, IMO. Pointless if they make it too track focused. Granted given how expensive the GT-R is now, it might work out as a softer tamer tourer.

Heck yea! Infiniti needs a halo car, and I like the looks of the new coupe. Just don’t overprice it.

What if they made a luxury version of the GTR?

I have the same engine and transmission as that car. The 7 speed doesn’t exactly lend itself to a car focused around track performance. That said, I’ll be happy if they make it and give it an LSD so that I can finally swap one into my car.

This is overall a pretty nice car, though much like wafflesnfalafel said, it will probably be best to stick with a lip spoiler for this car. The wing doesn’t entirely make sense. However, if it goes the “clean and steady tourer” route, that might be its strongest point.
At least give it a better name, like Project Horizon or something. Infiniti is already misspelled as “Infinity” in every single Craiglist ad ever...

It looks like a Q60 and a GTR had a baby, I’m digging it!

I hope they make it! I’m a big fan of the Red Sport 400 as a “budget M3” and this looks like it could give Infiniti a true competitor to Ms and AMGs
